Samba Wheat Pongal Mix from House of Fresh Millers is a traditional and 100% natural blend of Samba Wheat and Moong Dal. HOW TO PREPARE:
– In a pressure cooker, add one cup of freshmillers samba wheat Pongal mix, four cups of water, and three to four whole green chillies. Allow to cook for 4 whistles or until soft.
– After the pressure has been released, take off the lid of the cooker and mix the mixture with a ladle.
– Place cashews in a deep pan with ghee and roast until they turn golden brown. Remove the cashews and keep them aside.
– In the same pan, add ghee or oil, and once it gets heated, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, salt, chopped ginger, and a pinch of curry leaves.
– Add mashed fresh millers to the Pongal mix and mix it well to prevent lumps. Reduce the flame and cook for a total of 5 minutes.
– Now our tasty, spicy and healthy samba wheat Pongal is ready to serve.
