How to Prepare
  • Mix the Arisi Vadagam Mix with water to form a thick, smooth batter.
  • Optionally, add green chili paste, asafoetida, and salt for flavor.
  • Heat the batter in a heavy-bottomed pan until it thickens and is fully cooked.
  • Stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Once cooled slightly, use a vadam press or spoon to shape the batter onto a clean cloth or plastic sheet.
  • Dry the shaped vadams in direct sunlight for 1–2 days until they are completely crisp and moisture-free.
  • Deep-fry them in hot oil when needed. They puff up and become crunchy.
  • Enjoy as a snack or as a crispy side.
